Unilock Authorized Installer · San Antonio, TX
Built to Last.
Done Right.
Vision Grounds installs interlocking paver driveways, patios, and pool decks in San Antonio with a process built around preparation, precision, and permanence.
Our Philosophy
Precision over volume.
Every time.
Most paver contractors in San Antonio rely on shallow bases and dense road base — stone mixed with fines that retains water beneath the surface. When Texas clay shifts and swells — and it will — those installations fail. Heaving, sinking, cracking. The calls come in two to five years later, and by then the homeowner is looking at a full redo.
Vision Grounds builds differently. Every driveway starts 12 inches down — calibrated for vehicle loads and Central Texas clay. Patios and walkways receive a 4–6 inch base engineered for pedestrian loads. We install geotextile fabric to separate the base from native soil, then build up with an open-grade angular stone system that drains freely and stays stable year over year.
We limit our project load to maintain the standard. We turn down work that doesn’t fit our process. If you want it done once and done right, we’d like to talk.

What We Do
Hardscape services built for the Texas climate
Every service shares the same foundation — excavation depth, material quality, and installation precision that holds up decade after decade.

Paver Driveways
Our flagship service. A properly built paver driveway handles Texas freeze-thaw cycles, heavy vehicles, and time — without cracking or shifting.

Patios & Outdoor Living
From simple backyard patios to multi-zone outdoor living spaces — designed to complement your home’s architecture and the way you actually use your yard.

Pool Decks
Interlocking pavers around a pool stay cool underfoot, drain quickly, and remain stable even when soil expands in summer heat.
How We Work
No shortcuts. No exceptions.
A four-phase process that prioritizes preparation — because most installation failures happen before the first paver is placed.
Project Readiness Consultation
A site walk and honest conversation about scope, drainage, timeline, and investment — before any commitment is made.
Design & Material Selection
Pattern, color, and material choices from the full Unilock catalog — matched to your home’s architecture and your preferences.
Base Preparation
Correct excavation depth per surface type (12″ for driveways, 4-6″ for patios), geotextile fabric, open-grade angular stone base, compaction.
Installation & Walkthrough
Precision paver placement, cut work, polymeric joint sand, final cleanup — and a walk-through where we show you everything we built.
